Chili Cook Off April 3rd, 2010!
It's that time of year again. Time to see if you have what it takes to
win the coveted "winner blackboard" to show off to all your family
and friends for an entire year! Last year's winner Carol Borgione
has it proudly displayed in their sausage making room and hopes to
keep it there for another year!
If your up the the challenge, then start looking for that perfect recipe
today! The popularity of the Chili Cook Off has made Paul's home a
little to small, so this year we will be having it at the Columbia Station
VFW Hall on April 3rd from 5p to 9p or whenever the heck
everybody goes home. Remember as always it's BYOB!
The Columbia Station VFW Hall is located at:

Columbia Station, OH 44028
There will be prizes awarded for the first, second, and third place.
This year we are also having entertainment and dancing! Not in the
mood for chili, feel free to bring a side dish or desert! All the
proceeds from this years Chili Cook Off go to getting Ross to the Air
Academy!
Learn To Fly Day at Wadsworth May 15th
Since there is no Flight School at Columbia, EAA Chapter 1252 has
teamed up with Wadsworth Airport (3G3) to promote EAA's
International Learn to Fly Day. We're loading up our trailer and
hitting the road to make the EAA's best Pancakes and Sausage for
this Fly-in and Drive-in event.
If your know someone that is interested in learning to fly, get them to
Wadsworth Airport on May 15th from 8:00am to 1:00pm. We will
have Flight Instructors on hand and FREE adult orientation rides and
Young Eagles Flight if time permits!
Pancake Breakfast and Young Eagles Rally June 26th
EAA Chapter 1252's Annual FLY IN DRIVE IN Breakfast and Young
Eagles Rally is June 26th and the Columbia Station Airport from
8:00am - 1:00pm. Free Young Eagles Flights for kids between the
ages of 8 and 17 and of course the best Pancakes in Northeast
Ohio! Mark your Calendars!
